Does Nature really exist, or are there only the Orchard and raging Demons?
“The Demons in the Orchard” public lecture program by Ming Panha aims to engage the audience in the examination of fundamental concepts concerning nature and the nonhuman, including animals, plants, mineral stones, spirits, and angels.
About guest speaker
Ming Panha (He/They) is a lecturer from Department of English Language and Literature, Faculty of Liberal Arts, Thammasat University. He is interested in nineteenth-century Anglophone literature, animal studies, and colonial and postcolonial history. He is going to publish an article on Sherlock Holmes and the Anthropocene.

มิ่ง ปัญหา เป็นอาจารย์สาขาภาษาและวรรณคดีอังกฤษ คณะศิลปศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ สนใจศึกษาวรรณกรรมภาษาอังกฤษศตวรรษที่สิบเก้า สัตวศึกษา (animal studies) ประวัติศาสตร์อาณานิคมและหลังอาณานิคม กำลังจะตีพิมพ์บทความว่าด้วยเชอร์ล็อค โฮมส์ และมนุษยสมัย (Anthropocene)
