The colonial history of Taiwan has driven the strength of anti-colonialism. The process has formed our distinctive culture, and also has given the particular self-recognition for our new generation. Especially now Taiwan being the first country in Asia that legalizes same-sex marriage, it is a representation of the young generation is challenging and rebelling against the past, furthermore, questing to have a different future.
The initial issue is entitled, Rising, with contents including the young and queer communities in Taiwan, interpreting various identities through fashion and art, and demonstrating the autonomous power of body and sexuality.
