Navin Rawanchaikul has charted his ancestor’s Hindu-Punjabi heritage and migration to Thailand, then navigated his findings and feelings through an internationally acclaimed approach to art. For his latest project, the artist has applied a similar approach to Thailand’s Indian migrants and their generations of offspring. For these migrant issue, as appeared in this publication, it use a comic format in case for tell a story.
Over the past year, he and his Navin Production team have been busy turning their hundreds of hours of nationwide research into a kaleidoscopic outpouring of exuberant creativity: a panoramic 30-metre-long mural made up of over 300 interlocking canvases, a Bollywood musical-style video installation, a smorgasbord of related publications, and more!

นาวิน ลาวัลย์ชัยกุล ได้เคยจัดทำแผนภูมิมรดกทางวัฒนธรรมของชาวฮินดู – ปัญจาบบรรพบุรุษของเขาที่ได้อพยพมายังประเทศไทย จากนั้นสำรวจการนำเสนอผลงานและความรู้สึกของเขาผ่านแนวทางศิลปะที่ได้รับรางวัลระดับสากล สำหรับโปรเจกต์ล่าสุด เขาได้ใช้แนวทางที่คล้ายคลึงกันในการทำประเด็นเรื่องชาวอินเดียที่อพยพมาประเทศไทยรวมไปถึงลูกหลานของพวกเขา ซึ่งสำหรับหนังสือเล่มนี้ประเด็นดังกล่าวเล่าเรื่องผ่านรูปแบบของหนังสือการ์ตูน
