With its absence for over a decade, BEFF’s return in 2025 is poised to reignite its multidisciplinary ethos under the theme “Nowhere Somewhere.” This evocative edition, curated by Mary Pansanga, together with guest curators, invites audiences to reflect on the intersections of place, identity, and the transient nature of belonging, presenting a powerful lineup of films and installations that blur the lines between the real and the imagined. For the first time, BEFF will also introduce live experimental music, performances, and workshops.

หลังจากหยุดไปมากกว่าทศวรรษ BEFF กลับมาอีกครั้งในปี พ.ศ. 2568 ภายใต้ธีม “Nowhere Somewhere”​(ไร้ที่ มีทาง) คัดสรรโดย แมรี่ ปานสง่า ร่วมกับภัณฑารักษ์รับเชิญจากต่างประเทศ โดยเชิญชวนผู้ชมให้สำรวจประเด็นเรื่องพื้นที่ อัตลักษณ์ และธรรมชาติของการดำรงอยู่ที่เปลี่ยนแปลง นำเสนอโปรแกรมภาพยนตร์และงานติดตั้งที่พร่ามัวระหว่างความจริงกับจินตนาการ ในครั้งนี้จะเป็นครั้งแรกที่ BEFF ได้นำเสนอการแสดงดนตรีทดลอง การแสดงสด การจัดเวิร์กช็อป และการสัมมนาโดยศิลปิน ผู้กำกับ เเละนักเเสดงอาชีพอีกด้วย
