Punching Air is a back to the basics zine project by Matt Plezier. More black and white a photocopied photography. This second issue consists of photo’s that he has salvaged from a big box that was going to be thrown out by MRR (MaximumRocknRoll). Featured are classic 80’s hardcore bands that was his soundtrack for the next 20 years or so. A scene that has influenced him until today.
Punching Air is a zine from MonoRethorik, an independent publisher of Matt Plazier in which selling publications and various objects whether zine, artists’ books, clothes, or posters.

Punching Air เป็นโปรเจคทำซีนแบบกลับไปสูความเรียบง่ายโดยแมตต์ เพลซิเย่ร์ ด้วยเทคนิคการถ่ายภาพขาวดำด้วยการถ่ายเอกสารขาวดำ ในซีนเล่มที่สองนี้ เขารวบรวมภาพถ่ายที่ช่วยมาจากกล่องที่กำลังจะถูกทิ้งขยะของกลุ่ม MRR หรือ MaximumRocknRoll (นิตยสารรายเดือนเกี่ยวกับวงดนตรีพังก์ร็อกใต้ดินที่ตีพิมพ์ออกมาตั้งแต่ปี 2525) ประกอบไปด้วยภาพจากวงฮาร์ดคอร์พังก์ที่เขายังเปิดเพลงฟังเป็นประจำมานานกว่า 20 ปี และเป็นภาพชุดที่มีอิทธิพลต่อเขาถึงปัจจุบัน
