Thai Politics No.7 consists of twenty-six photographs that show the military’s television broadcasts that were made compulsory across all Thai channels in the period that followed the coup d’etat in May 2014. The images were taken by online contacts and submitted through social site.
Thai Politics is an ongoing series developed from the first major protest in Bangkok since 2006. Whilst exploring the differing political attitudes in Bangkok, the project also examines photography within an image rich world. Punctuating each addition to the series is not only a different dimension to people’s political views and behaviours, but also a different approach to how they are captured and presented. This includes curating images found across social media (Thai Politics No.2, 4, 7, 8, 9 ) to the more traditional approach of digital and film photography (Thai Politics No.1, 3, 5, 6 ).

Thai Politics No.7 ประกอบไปด้วยภาพจำนวน 26 ภาพ ที่ถ่ายหน้าจอโทรทัศน์ที่ออกอากาศในทุกช่องสถานีในช่วงภายหลัง การทำรัฐประหารโดยคณะกรรมการรักษาความสงบแห่งชาติ (คสช.) ในช่วงเดือนพฤษภาคม ปี 2557 ภาพเหล่านี้ถ่ายโดยคนรู้จักของศิลปินบนโลกออนไลน์และส่งต่อมาให้ศิลปินผ่านสื่อโซเชียล
ผลงานชุด Thai Politics มีจุดเริ่มต้นจากเหตุการณ์ประท้วงครั้งสำคัญครั้งแรกของกรุงเทพฯ ในปี 2549 มิติ เรืองกฤตยา สำรวจภาพถ่ายที่เกิดขึ้นมากมายในช่วงนั้นไปพร้อมๆ กับการสำรวจทัศนคติทางการเมืองที่ต่างกันไปในกรุงเทพฯ งานแต่ละชิ้นในชุด Thai Politics ไม่เพียงนำเสนอมิติมุมมองและพฤติกรรมทางการเมืองของผู้คนที่แตกต่างกัน แต่ยังนำเสนอวิถีทางที่ภาพต่างๆ เหล่านี้ถูกบันทึกและนำเสนอด้วยกลวิธีที่หลากหลาย ซึ่งรวมถึงการคัดเลือกภาพที่พบเห็นได้จากสื่อโซเชียล (Thai Politics No.2, 4, 7, 8, 9 ) หรือวิธีที่ดั้งเดิมกว่าอย่างการถ่ายภาพทั้งดิจิทัลและฟิล์ม (Thai Politics No.1, 3, 5, 6 )
