Made in collaboration with his home-town community of Chiang Mai, There is No Voice was exhibited as part of Navin Rawanchaikul’s first solo show in 1994 and was gradually expanded by the artist until 2012. This collection of discarded medicine bottles, reused as receptacles for black-and-white photographs of Chiang Mai’s senior citizens, presents his commitment to social issues. There is no Voice is published on the occasion of an exhibition with the same title. It is an exhibition by Navin Rawanchaikul that happened in 1994 at USIS Library, Bangkok.
